The Cape
Care Agency provides a friendly and personal care service that enables the
frail, elderly or disabled client to continue to live independently in his/her
own home.
Depending on the individual
needs and health needs of the client, care may be provided on a full or part time basis
ie. from 3 hours to 24 hours per day.
Clients and carers are assessed
regularly and both receive ongoing support.

Often frail, elderly or
disabled Clients are daunted by the prospect of travelling alone and so
miss out on wonderful opportunities. We offer care in hotels / holiday
accommodation as well as Carers who can accompany Clients on their
travels.
In the modern day
hospital patients are discharged as soon as possible. We can provide
post operative or respite care in the Client's own home where recovery is
often hastened by being in a familiar environment.
We currently work very successfully with community nursing sisters who
are called in should the care situation require medical intervention or
supervision.
Sometimes the
choice to live in an institution is the right one. However many health
care facilities today are understaffed and unable to give attention to
the specific needs of the Client. Our Carers work very successfully in
these facilities providing one on one care and giving the Clients the
assistance needed. The services we provide currently range from
driving a client to an appointment and companionship to 24 hour care.
Remaining in one’s
own home means that life goes on as normal despite incapacity or
frailty. Beloved pets, visitors, memorabilia all remain familiar and intact. Our Carers have been trained to look at care holistically in the
Client's own environment. Duties could include walking the dog, cooking,
tidying the linen cupboard, receiving guests etc. This enables the
Client to retain their independence and continue to live according to
their own rules.

With the changing times
and our wealth of care experience, CAPE CARE offers a private
recruitment division. Clients will now have the option of selecting
their own private carer from our pool of carefully screened reliable
carers. Our experience and support in all aspects of taking on and
managing staff will facilitate your successful employment of a Carer.
